Future Unlimited Basketball Program
The Hoops 4 Future Unlimited Basketball Program is a structured, inclusive basketball program designed specifically for children and teens on the autism spectrum. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where participants can develop basketball skills, build confidence and experience the joy of basketball.
Program Overview
This program adapts the fundamentals of basketball to meet the sensory, communication, and learning needs of athletes with autism. The program is designed with predictable routines, visual supports, and clear instruction to ensure participants feel comfortable and successful.
Coaches and volunteers are trained to provide clear, structured instruction with patience and understanding. The program is adapted to understand each athlete’s ability level. Our goal is also to employ occupational therapists and behavior professionals to consult in the program.
